A calm, professional livery yard - built entirely around the horse.

Home Field Equestrian is a private, family-run livery yard set within Bury Farm, in a quiet valley on the edge of Bovingdon. We offer 5-day part, 7-day part, 7-day full and retirement grass livery, and we keep the yard deliberately small.

Fifteen horses. Not fifty. It's the number a team can genuinely know, and knowing a horse is where good care actually begins.

Designed around the horse

Fifteen stables, 12ft by 14ft.

An open, U-shaped barn where no horse is ever isolated. Every horse can see every other horse, all of the time. 

Thirty acres of grazing in continuous rotation. Electric-fenced, properly rested, with individual, paired and small-herd turnout all year round, and real flexibility on day and night. It's why the grass is still worth having in August.

A 20m × 40m rubber arena, mirrored and floodlit. Showjumps, a ride-around track, and off-road hacking straight from the farm.

Hot wash, solarium, secure tack and rug rooms, trailer parking, and a horse walker coming soon.

Five-star care

Our experienced team is on the yard seven days a week, and they know every horse individually: the habits, the temperament, what normal looks like for that particular animal. It's why the small things get caught early.

Full muck-out daily, skipped out through the day. Ad-lib hay, with balancer, chaff and hard feed included. A full body check every time a horse comes in from the field. Feet picked out before and after turnout, and washed afterwards, legs too, if you'd like. Rugs, fly masks and boots changed. Vet, farrier, physio and dentist held and assisted, ours or yours. Wound and injury care. A tailored worming programme built on testing first, and treating only when it's needed. Bespoke supplements managed for each horse through our partners at Equipacs.

Peace of mind

We live on site. Our house is on the yard, we do the evening checks ourselves, and when something happens at two in the morning we're already here.

24-hour CCTV. A secure electric gated entrance. Owners on site, and the donkeys, who take security seriously.

At Home Field, we invite you to come and simply enjoy your horses. It's a calm, relaxed, friendly yard, where children are welcome and there's nothing to navigate, no politics, no hierarchy, no drama. Just quiet mornings, good company, and horses that are settled and content.

We don't do stress here. And neither do our horses.
